My approach draws on counseling frameworks built around how we relate to ourselves and each other, improving awareness, connection, and resilience. The through-line in most of what I do is relationship: with partners, with community, with meaning, and with your own inner life.
No two people are the same, and my work reflects that. I pull from a range of evidence-based frameworks when working with clients. I collaborate with my clients on their wellness goals from a strengths-based, growth orientated, and compassionate approach. My clients include individuals, partners, and friends from older adults to teens. Theories and interventions I draw from include EFT, MBCT, CBCT as well as others.
I work with people who want support in facing the challenges that are holding them back. Whether thatโs improving a relationship that matters to you, figuring out who you are outside of whatโs expected, or simply building a life that feels more like yours. Weโll explore together ways to build on your strengths and add new tools to your box. You take what works for your life, and leave the rest.
Counseling changed the arc of my life. Not in a dramatic, overnight way โ but steadily, the way good things usually play out. I found tools I didnโt know I needed, saw myself more clearly, and started moving toward the life I actually wanted. Passing that experience forward is what brought me to this.
When Iโm not in session, Iโm usually somewhere outdoors, connecting with art and music, or sharing a meal with people I love. My partner and I have been together since 2011 and enjoy traveling and exploring nature with our two dogs.
